Customer Rating: Summary: C'mon... Comment: Anyone who gave this less than 4 and a half stars is not doing it justice.
Customer Rating: Summary: ... Comment: What I think about In Rainbows is that Radiohead reinvented their style of music yet again, as they did in the transition between OK Computer and Kid A. At first, I was put off by it because it didn't give me the kind of....how can I say it....well, it's more of Radiohead reaching into themselves and experimenting then trying to reach out to the listener as they did so well in The Bends and OK Computer. But then I just looked at the technical how-to quality to it, and I just bean to appreciate the album as an experimental work, or another chapter in Radiohead's work (which is why I definitely don't think it's "non-essential").
Is it near the quality level of OK Computer or The Bends? No, but name me an album in the past 10 years that is.
Customer Rating: Summary: Waste of money Comment: I purchased this CD right after the release...Needless to say, I was sooooo disappointed. The tracks dragged on and I think I have tried to listen to it in it's entirety twice but can't.
Customer Rating: Summary: Mostly great Comment: Great compilation of songs. Some parts of the CD dragged on too much for me, but overall I enjoyed it!
Customer Rating: Summary: RADIOHEA_D? Comment: A lot of hubub over this album.
Bodysnatchers is absolutely rockin', Jigsaw Falling Into Place is great, and the rest of the album seems to be music I can fall asleep too. Radiohead goes way too close to being Coldplay snoozer music with a few progressive sounds and occasional addition of drums. The Bends and OK Computer continue to be the best albums, but this one ain't bad...it just ain't that exciting either.
