Customer Rating: Summary: Fasta Pasta Review Comment: As Gomer Pile might say,"Surprise, Surpise, Surprise". This microwave cooker actually works even better than advertized. So far, I've "cooked" pasta, corn on the cob, brussel sprouts and small red skined potatos with great results. It is perfect for one or two people.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fasta Pasta Success Comment: Works great. Benefit is you have a predictable time to expect the pasta to be done so you can coordinate the meal
Customer Rating: Summary: This product is ok Comment: The Fasta Pasta The Microwave Cooker is an ok product. It will boil your pasta and all but I'm not sure if the cooking times for cooking are accurate. I followed the directions to a tee. I measured the pasta, added cold water to the appropriate water level line of the Fasta Pasta Cooker and with the lid off, I cooked the pasta(in this case spaghetti) in the microwave for the time indicated in the instructions for regular spaghetti, which was what I was cooking. I cooked it at the highest level and still the spaghetti did not cook all the way through. I have a 1250W microwave. I don't see why cooking the pasta at the highest level in such a high wattage microwave would be a problem. It turns out that instead of the 13-14 minutes for 2 serving sizes as directed in the instructions, I have to cook the spaghetti for at least 20 minutes. I'm not sure how much of a time saver that is. The real time saver is cleanup. You don't need a pot or strainer anymore. Everything can be done in this product. Less items to clean up.
All and all this is an alright product. It just doesn't work for me the way it seems to work for others.
Customer Rating: Summary: I'll Never Go Back Comment: Took a chance based on the reviews posted here and elsewhere. I wasn't disappointed. "Fasta Pasta" beats the heck out of digging out the large pot, waiting for the water to boil, waiting while the pasta cooks, and then draining with the colander (fewer dirty dishes afterward, too). My pasta has cooked perfectly each and every time. I wish I'd purchased it sooner - I love it so much I bought another one right away.
"Fasta Pasta" is the perfect size for my microwave. I looked at the competition but happened onto a review that mentioned how much bigger it was than "Fasta Pasta". It would have never fit in my micro. "Fasta Pasta" gives me exactly what I need in the size I need. What a great product!
Customer Rating: Summary: Never boil water again! Comment: Go to the link below and get a more complete pasta/cooking-time list. This is a great product, and you need never boil water for pasta again!
