Summary: Works good with my MBP - Very Solid
Comment: This is a very reliable software, I was surprised it works so well after all the criticisms from other Mac owners. Although, I have both Microsoft Office 2008 & iWork 08 and I find a place for both of them for my family to use, I will say Microsoft Office 2008 is pretty easy and reliable to use. However, I still prefer Keynote when it comes to presentations over power point presentations. I would highly recommend this product if you don't want error messages when importing word docs into Pages-iWork 08. Otherwise, if you want to save money just get iWork 08 instead.

Comment: Basic use of this product which most people use isn't bad. However, if you are a science major and need to analyze data and/or write scientific papers, this product isn't for you. Even the old version is better for scientific use. Think twice before using it for science related projects.

Comment: Microsoft Excel 2008 has negative features that did not appear in Excel 2006. I thought Excel 2006 would not work with Leopard, but it did and I regret having purchased Office 2008. Furthermore, Microsoft only allows two free questions. After that, you must pay $49 for each event! What a rip-off.

Comment: Needed to update MSOffice to stop the computer crashing that was going on with OS 10.5.4. seems to have solved the problem on both office computers.
