Customer Rating: Summary: okay, but not a great phone Comment: I've had my phone since I upgraded at the end of July. At first glance it seems like it's a fancy phone. However, I was able to use my previous cell phone as a flashlight, because the backlight stayed on for 3 minutes. This Sony Ericsson Z750 phone has no backlight. The screen goes black within 10 seconds if you are not actively using the phone. I don't use my phone that often; but, I have to charge it about every second day. If you use your phone a lot, you might want to invest in a car charger.
The main feature that I like is that there is no camera button anywhere on the outside of the phone. So, if you're like me and carry your phone in your pocket, you're not going to end up with a full phone memory from the camera taking pictures of the inside of your pocket.
I don't use the phone for anything but a phone, so I can't provide any information about any of the other features.
I don't think the phone is worth paying full price for it. If you can get it with rebates, you might find it worthwhile. I recommend trying it before committing to buying it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Awful Comment: The worst phone I've had. Period. The battery life is horrendously short. Dropped calls constantly. I used the phone to check e-mail and it crashed constantly. I had problems with it not being able to send text and multimedia and , though the tech support people really gave it their all, many solutions were never found. The display is impossible to read outside on the pink phone. After 5 months of use my 2 year old spilled milk on it and it died forever. I won't miss it. In the past I've used Nokia and Motorola and I'll definitely go back to one of those two. If I had to find something positive to say the camera worked really well.
