Summary: CAUTION!
Comment: CAUTION ! This is not a "Plug and Play', not by a long shot. It is not wireless to your car radio. Somebody should be arrested for misleading customers to think that you only have to hook up the antena and power adapter. This puppy requres that you buy additional hardware - which I did. Listen to my story very carefully. . .I bought the unit and hooked it up as per the guide directions - it didn't work. I called technical support and they couldn't get it to work. Finally out of frustration I decided to buy an FM Direct Connect kit from Circuit city. It worked!! . .but only with the direct connect kit. Comment: I ordered a Delphi SA10315-11BB1 Xpress RC Plug and Play XM Satellite Radio with Color Display as a gift for my son-in-law. He says it is everything he wanted and easy to install.

Comment: I purchased the XpressRC on Friday afternoon, and by Friday night it had stopped working. First, it would erase all the saved data I had inputted when I moved it from the car to the home base & vice-versa. Second, it started to freeze on a screen rendering all the buttons on the unit useless. Then if finally quit coming on entirely. Once I get a new unit I am sure I will be happy with it, as when it was working I thought it was awesome. My issue now is with XM's customer service.
I spoke with a guy the same day I bought it who basically said my unit was defective and if it continues call back and they will replace it. I called back. I was hung up on three times before finally reaching tech support, however it was tech support for Canada and they couldn't help someone in the US nor could they transfer me to US tech support. I had to repeat the 10 minute process of reaching someone by re-entering ALL the information they must have to send you to the person they deem appropriate. My final call (I smashed the OPER on my phone until it fianlly skipped all the question-asking) went through and basically they said I would have to buy a new unit from them (at a higher price than I paid) and send back the defective one. Purchase with caution.

Summary: should have moved to satelite a long time ago!
Comment: This satelite radio is a joy to use and the color screen is much easier to see than the black and white version. My only complaint is that my vehicle construction limited the installation of this radio to a semi inconvenient location. My advice is to check on the details of installation prior to purchasing. Otherwise, this radio is fantastic and I will never go back to regular radio again.

Summary: Piece Of Junk!!!! Don't buy.
Comment: The radio looks great and seems like it would be a good xm radio. However, the radio constantly locks up and I am unable to change the station. The radio also loses activation and I need to reactivate the radio. The radio also has a very weak AM/FM range. You pretty much need a audio in cable if you want to listen with this radio.
I would buy something else if I had to buy an xm radio.
