Comment: I don't buy many CD's, but love this one. I have listened to it many times over and really like the diversity of music on it.

Summary: Surprised...but not disappointed
Comment: I bought this for my wife, because she was a fan of Mandisa's when she was on AI. Usually, when I buy music from a relatively unknown/new artist, I kind of keep an open mind to what vision they have musically. I can honestly say that I thought that this was going to be a gospel CD, however, the style is more of a Contemporary Christian vibe. Keep that in mind when you make the purchase of this CD. Having said that, I thought this CD was pretty solid. Mandisa's unmistakable power shines through when it has to, but it's not overwhelming and blaring all the time. To me, Mandisa handles all of the vocals with impressive dexterity, and proves to me at least that she knows how to sing. Many artists have great voices, but there is a difference between having a great voice, and using that voice as an instrument to craft a particular sound. I think Mandisa falls into the latter category.

Comment: I actually never watched Idol but I had heard of Mandisa. I went to an Extrodinary Woman conference and then to a Beth Moore DeeperStill conference (Christian Womens Conference) and fell in LOVE with her music. You can really feel her love for God in her music and you can see she was given the gift of music from God. This album is very uplifting and powerful. Voice of a Savior is my favorite!!!

Comment: This CD is a blessing. I've already bought a few to share with others as a ministry tool. I love every track. There is no way I can choose a favorite. Of all the CDs I own, this is by far the best. When you feel like praising the Lord, like dancing, like crying... when you are in need of encouragement... there's a track for you. It's complete. Her voice will amaze you and the words will refresh you. A must have!

Comment: I also bought this C.D. with much higher expectations. I enjoy all Christian and gospel music but this C.D. is mediocre. It's not at all soulful or intensely moving.
