Customer Rating: Summary: Acquired taste Comment: The taste is "funny" to say the least. Lemon Lime is so strong, feels like chewing some kind of artificial citrus extract. After a while you might get used to it, but I don't think very many people would love it.
I tried the liquid orange form, too. Tastes much better, but is not as portable. Perhaps, the powder is the way to go?
Probably the best value of this product is in the fact that it contains quercetin. As far as high vitamin content (each one included is a 100% recommended daily value or greater which you would ingest with normal diet anyway), keep in mind that, typically, excess vitamins are excreted in urin or stool, therefore, the benefit is doubtful (public's ignorance of this is how supplements industry makes billions every year).
The "energy buzz"? Don't count on it. Most energy drinks give you buzz with high caffeine and sugar contents. This one might delay the fatigue later in the day, especially after exercise, but "buzz" is not one of the features I've expected.
Customer Rating: Summary: mdollarbill Comment: I agree, the chew tabs are a little gritty, but really not bad. I enjoy the taste and want to try the orange next. I also like this product a little better than the powder buecause you can just pop them in your mouth and go. no need to find a bottle of water to mix the powder with. No matter what form you best like FRS, IT WORKS. This product is great and you will not be dissappointed in the results.
Customer Rating: Summary: Better than the drink at least... Comment: ...and, that's not saying much. They do seem to help some (and, they seem to be great for my skin), but the taste is a bit hard to tolerate. And, I agree that the L&L is better than the orange. Other than the taste, the texture is not quite palatable. However, compared to the drink mix, I would consider these so yummy (yes, the drink mix, esp. the concentrate, is that bad).
Customer Rating: Summary: The Green is better than the orange Comment: These are great. You feel good without any jitters or other nasty side effects. The orange is a bit too bitter for me, but I really like the lemon-lime! Some people don't like them I see - to each his own. I didn't like the drink mix, so I find the chews easier to get down. I wonder if they have pills? That would be even better!
Customer Rating: Summary: Mmm gritty Comment: Healthy they may be... but they taste like a pixie stick that's been fermented in a cows nether-bits. I think I'll take my chances with those ominous free radicals, thanks.
