Comment: Tweak your screen for best pix using any DVD player (in HD, if you got a red-laser HD-DVD player, leap-day blow-out sale.) Out of the box, TVs are set wrong to grab attention seen displayed in a store.

Comment: This was not helpful at all. I could not make the basic adjustments to my new HD LCD television in the ways demonstrated in the video presentation. I could find no reference to LCD anywhere in the presentation; only CRT and projection televisions. When I tried to e-mail support at the Joe Kane web site, I was informed that no support was available. I wrote a letter to Mr. Kane at the address on the web site 3 weeks ago and have not received a reply. If it were possible to give a "no stars" rating I would.

Comment: Very full of unwanted info. difficult to navigate, still have not completely calibrated my television.

Comment: This thing provides the needed test patterns and a reasonable level of instruction to get the job done.
My system looked much better after I got done.
My only negative is the "tutorial" portion was more than a little verbose as it threw in subjects that were completely beyond the users ability to adjust or affect. It was kind of like they were showing off their TV decoder design prowess. I found myself saying "OK, get on with it."
Also, the menu makes it a too difficult to get to the test patterns. They are nested way to deep.
Just put them out front. Once you have endured their monotonous droning on and on, you don't need any further instruction. You should be able to go directly to the patterns to use them as you need.
