Summary: Basis All Clear discolored bars
Comment: I also made a purchase on November 19, 2007 and received discolored all clear bars. I still used them thinking, maybe they had been stored in bad lighting. I did notice they were not as effective as before, but I still cannot find anything that works any better. So I guess I will stick with it. I have been using this soap since 1998 when my dermatologist recommended it to me and this is the only place I can find it.

Summary: I love this Soap
Comment: I really love ths soap. I happened upon it the first time on a deal site and ended up with a free bar. It has a very nice mild citrusy scent and I was concerned that the mildness of the soap would cause a flare up of my adult acne. I couldn't have be any more wrong. The soap has tea tree oil in which is a natural antibacterial with drying properties. It cleared up my acne and did not leave my skin dry. I personally love the stuff. I just wish the bars would last a little longer. Warning - do not leave this soap in a wet soapdish as it will turn into a mushy mess.

Comment: I use this cleaner on my face. I like the shape, and the concave surface of one side fits right into the contours of the face. I love the fresh smell of the tea tree oil.

Summary: Best for oily or acne-prone skin
Comment: As many of the reviewers have commented, it has become difficult (not impossible) to find on store shelves. My best source has been in the Seattle, WA area; not convenient when you your main residence is in Chicago area.
I've tried other products, and have on occassion ran out and had to go back to other brands. Within a day I can tell the difference - my skin is oily, blackheads appear and I feel a general sense of not feeling as clean. Within 24hrs I'm back to my old, clean self. I wish they made a body shampoo!

Summary: Won't clear up acne
Comment: I used to use proactive & prescription acne cream & my doctor told me that I should get an antibacterial soap for my face to help get rid of my acne. I saw the reviews on this site and bought this soap. I stopped using the proactive & my prescription face cream (which both stain my pjs and bedclothes & can get pricey & time consuming) and started using this soap (in the a.m. & p.m.) and my acne got worse. That was after about 1-2 weeks. Now it's been about 4-5 weeks. My acne is better but it's still slightly there and it doesn't look as good as it was when I used proactive & my prescription. I'm hoping that with time the soap will start working better. I have 7.5 bars left so I might as well use them. Anyway, don't expect this soap to clear up your acne right away. Then again, everybody's skin is different so who knows.
