I was on a ketogenic diet and thought I could just get all my fiber from these pills. No sir, they will make you cramp really bad and they will kick you out of ketosis. So beware. I think it kicked me out of ketosis because it does in fact have dextrose in its ingredient list which is a fast digested sugar. It says it only adds a trivial amount of sugar and their are 4 grams of carbs and sublisted is 4 grams of fiber. So one would conjecture that there really is only a trivial amount. Who knows what the true problem is. Overall they are great and taste like candy. Just dont eat too many. I also send them to my 96 year old mother who uses them to help control diarrhea. She also likes them because they practically disolve in your mouth if you have problems chewing with false teeth.
