Summary: The Freediver's Mask
Comment: This is the mask used by most professional freedivers all over the world, including record holders and breakers. If it's good enough for them, it has to be good enough for me, right?. I already took it for a test run and I love it. Low inner volume and high range of vision, particularly peripheral. It's very comfortable and light. Only problem is that the lens is plastic and can scratch very easily, so take good care of it and keep it in the box.

Summary: The BEST mask for Freediving!
Comment: The Sphera is a PERFECT choice for freediving (which is why so many world record holders are diving with them now). It's very light and extremely low volume, so equalizing it takes almost no effort. Plus, being flexible, it will actually flex around your face BEFORE mask squeeze becomes a painful problem; I've taken it down to over 30' before I even HAD to equalize it. The curved lenses are great, as they afford a fantastic field of vision. They do cause a bit of distortion on the sides, but you soon adjust to it. When diving on a line, it's not noticable at all, since you're looking straight ahead. The only cons of this mask are that the lenses are plastic, and prone to scratches (keep it in it's case when not in use), and the mask does wear out and lose it's shape in about a year's time, requiring the purchase of a new one. All in all, it's a FANTASTIC freediving mask.
