Comment: Used this in the fall just before the rain starts coming in our neck of the woods. Repelled water just as advertised. Fabric needs to be clean before putting it on. I wish it had UV protection because water repellency is only part of the problem with outdoor fabric.

Comment: I USED THE 303 CLEANER AND FABRIC GUARD ON AN EVER LEAKING MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE SPYDER CONV. TOP. AFTER CONSULTING WITH A LOCAL CONV. TOP REPAIR SHOP, THEY ADVISED USING 303 FABRIC GUARD. AFTER TREATING THE ROOF SIDE RAILS AND UNDER THE EDGES AND WEATHER STRIPS AS WELL AS THE COMLETE ROOF THE ROOF SHED WATER LIKE NEW. THE ROOFS COLOR SEEMED TO COME BACK TO LIFE SOMEWHAT BUT THE ROOF QUIT LEAKING AROUND SEAMS AND THE REAR WINDOW !!! WE HAVE A LITTLE AS SO WITH ALL CONV. TOPS BUT THIS STUFF REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE!! I ALSO TREATED IT 2 TIMES AS FOR DIRECTIONS ON A WEATHERED ROOF. ITS WORTH THE MONEY !! THE 32OZ BOTTLES ARE THE BEST BUY. WE USED 1 AND 1/2 32 OZ BOTTLES PER APPLICATION AND THIS ROOF IS MED. IN SIZE. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON THE PRODUCT. SURFACE MUST BE CLEANED AND DRY AND PRODUCT ALLOWED TO DRY IN SUN FOR TIME SPECIFIED ON THE BOTTLE

Comment: The product is way overrated. For low quality fabrics, it might work. But for the convertible top on BMW, it doesn't do much. The effect worn out very quickly. I should have stick with Autosol Convertible Top Sealant and Protectant. It is a little more expansive. But it last almost a year for each application.

Comment: I had been looking around for the 303 Fabric Guard for some time because it came highly recommended as the best product for keeping the convertible top on my '07 Mini S in prime condition. I found Amazon had the best price and I have always had great experiences using the site. The product arrived far sooner than I expected and the recommendations were spot on...it is a great product and so in turn, I am highly recommending both the 303 product as well as Amazon.

Comment: This product worked very well to protect from rain deposits. After showers, the water beaded rather than soaking into the fabric. I can only assume that this is good for the life and appearance of the soft top. Every soft top owner should own this product and also its accompanying product 303 Cleaner (also available on Amazon.com). I recommend using this product at least once every 2 months.
