Customer Rating: Summary: Not Too Helpful Comment: I can find the info in this magazine by just going online (I may even get better deals online).
Customer Rating: Summary: Lap of luxury Comment: Travel and Leisure is a glossy, glamorous publication, one that's a treat to leaf through on a cold winter's evening. Its focus on "the best", while interesting enough, is utterly useless for the average American who must travel on a budget. Once in a while, a photo or an article from this magazine will prompt me to look into a town or region to visit, but as far as practical suggestions go, there's a glaring absence. While the glitzy 4 star hotels are impressive, staying in little known, cozy and comfortable, local inns, or even renting a vacation house, is our first choice, but T & L is of no help with that.
Customer Rating: Summary: Travel & Leisure Magazine Comment: I think Travel & Leisure is a great "aspirational travel" magazine. Travel is so much about the dream, the experience, the memory, and the storytelling.... I think T&L does a great job of helping travelers IMAGINE the possibilities.
Customer Rating: Summary: unfun Comment: I subscribe to quite a few travel magazines. This one has so much advertising that I tend not to read much of it. The slant is very serious and definately geared toward the wealthy/business people. Not very much real usable information. Just not very fun. The font is tiny and nearly cumbersome to read...doesn't have much class or sass.
Customer Rating: Summary: Another rip off? Comment: A month & 1/2 after having paid for this magazine I have yet to recieve a single issue!Bonus? What bonus? I have never even recieved a confirmation of my order from the publisher.Im thinkin theres a federal law against taking money for something the buyer doesn't receive in 2 weeks, right? Sup?
