Summary: Best of Schoolhouse Rock
Comment: Teachers, I bought this for use with my Social Studies classes. I have the songs playing in the background as my students are entering the room or doing independent work. These familiar old Schoolhouse Rock songs actually do have real information in the lyrics! It's a great way to utilize a more non-traditional modality for introduction and reinforcement of material.

Comment: I grew up with School House Rock. And when my girlfriend's daughter was having difficulty with English, I just went and order this. She is now reading at a higher level and I get to listen to my favorite songs all over again.

Comment: This CD brings back memories of when I was a kid sitting in front of the TV on lazy Saturday mornings. A must have. Play it for your kids and watch them smile!

Comment: My kids have loved listening to this in the car... they loved the DVD as well. It's amazing how effective these songs are at helping you remember some of the difficult stuff (pronouns...Preamble to the Constitution) and made the learning enjoyable. They worked for me as a kid and still work now!

Summary: My son amazes his classmates with what he has learned!
Comment: My first grade son's teacher is constantly amazed at my son's knowledge -- much of it gained from this School House Rocks CD. He knows the preamble to the constitution by heart, can count by threes, and knows the definition of nouns and adjectives when no other first grader in his class does. This is all due to singing these great songs in the car. I wish there were more editions of this CD with more of the great songs!
