Summary: Still/Stille Nacht worth the price of admission
Comment: I discovered a cassette of this recording on a bargain table
several years ago. It quickly became my favorite car tape for
the Christmas season, so now I need the CD for the tapeless
new car. The Stille Nacht is the German version -
just a slight waltz twist at the end. Lovely. And the Pueri
Concinite features a young treble voice that brings tears to
your eyes. Tochter Zion is a keeper as well. There are the
old standbys but for those looking for music that isn't
played every day after Thanksgiving, this has some nice
pieces.

Comment: The music is good and I love the Waltz. The Kaiser-Walzer reminds me of the SchubertChor in their concert. The whole CD is good, it is worth to own it. Their voices are almost angels.

Comment: As expected, the Vienna Boys Choir would make an excellent Christmas offering, as usual, this is not an disappointment. The production is excellent and the singing is, as usual, the highest quality.
