Customer Rating: Summary: They don't make movies like this anymore Comment: There was a time when movies expected us to suspend our disbelief as they followed a hilarious plot without the burden of self-reference or irony. Eddy Murphy shines in this light and uninhibited search for the child who will save the world from its sins.
Customer Rating: Summary: Funny, Funny, Funny Comment: I saw this movie for the first time when I was 9 years old. 21 years later, I still laugh when I watch it. It has so many classic lines in it. "Only a man whose heart is pure can wield the knife and only a man whose a** is narrow can fit down these stairs." Ya gotta love it. It's Eddie Murphy at his 80s best and it's hilarious. It's a very good timepiece as well....in the opening shots, they show random scenes in L.A. and premium gas is only 99 cents a gallon! LOL!
Customer Rating: Summary: Eddie Murphy saves the Day Comment: When a child with magical powers is kidnapped in Tibet, a Los Angeles social worker Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is destined to save the "chosen one" and defeat the demon Sardo Numspa (Charles Dance). Great role by Victor Wong as the beggar/Lama. Plenty of laughs, good action.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great movie! Comment: I love this movie. I love Eddie Murphy IN this film. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't enjoy it. It has comedy, love, adventure and fantasy all in one package.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pass this one by Comment: What a terrible, low budget, movie. We could not finish it.
