Summary: Hilarious lesbian comic teaches the straight folks!
Comment: Suzanne Westenhoeffer, a lesbian comic from Columbus, OH, gives an amazing and hilarious performance here. I've used it in my women's studies classes as an educational tool--she illustrates the ways in which stereotypes of lesbians and gays can be disrupted and examined.

Summary: If you like to laugh, get this video
Comment: Everyone and I mean everyone that watches this video loves it and immediately says that when she comes to town, they want to see her! Fortunately, I went to see her out of town in Provincetown before she could make it to my town -- worth every penney of the trip! I even got to talk with her and she is a very grounded blessed lady.

Summary: The funniest stand up special I've ever seen
Comment: This tape is Suzanne's HBO comedy special. It is the only such video I've ever purchased. It focuses largely on lesbian humor, but everyone I've watched it with, of any orientation, has laughed until they couldn't breathe. Suzanne is an absolutely brilliant comic.

Comment: Suzanne is hilariously funny. I watched this video twice back to back because I am certain I missed at least half of it the first time from laughing. Suzanne gives the impression that she would be the life of a party anywhere, anytime.And, I LOVE her laugh!!!
