Customer Rating: Summary: And the band played on Comment: I had to review this movie for on of my graduate classes. I had seen it in the past, but did not remember all of the details. I really enjoyed seeing it for the second time.
Customer Rating: Summary: fabulous Comment: This was informative and entertaining...one of my favourite DVD's...well worth purchasing..a comprehensive look at the beginning of one of our world's greatest problems..

Customer Rating: Summary: Review from a Teacher Comment: I teach anatomy and physiology....show this during Microbiology....it's amazing how far we've come in 20 yrs, and kind of surprising how POLITICAL the world is!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: It keeps playing... Comment: And the Band Played On is a good movie, if not one that I would usually watch. I had to watch this for a Sociology class I was taking, but reflecting on it I did enjoy the movie. It was a good take on the struggles of the homosexual community in the beginning of the AIDS epidemic. It was a good movie I would have never considered.
Customer Rating: Summary: Interesting movie Comment: Excelent movie.
For everyone, but especially for people interested in Public Health field. It is a piece of the history of AIDS, the discovery of the disease, the virus and how reserachers have to deal whith politics to make decitions.
I strongly recomended.
