Summary: You get everything but 'The Force'
Comment: The characters in the 1993 Japanese animation release (anime) "Outlanders" bear striking resemblence to the characters in the early 1980's "Star Wars" film series. Aliens from the Santovasku Empire want to exterminate human life on Earth. Runaway Princess Kahm (Princess Leah?) falls in love with Earthling Tetsuya (Luke Skywalker?) and takes Tetsuya to her spaceship, intending to present Tetsuya to her father the Emperor (The Star Wars' Emperor?) as her fiance. Princess Kahm's spaceship is intercepted by the fleet of Counselor Progress (Darth Vader?), who forcibly returns Princess Kahm's spaceship and all passengers to The Emperor. The Emperor is enraged and orders Tetsuya's death and Princess Kahm's imprisonment. Tetsuya fights a sword duel with wolfen warrior Geobaldi (Chubaka?), then Geobaldi and a feline warrior Battia help Tetsuya and Princess Kahm escape back to embattled planet Earth with Counselor Progress in hot pursuit.*"Outlander" is a sexy cartoon.* Princess Kahm and warrior Battia have good hard bodies and removable costumes. "Outlander" is a stimulating visual experience that will appeal to males (over 18 years of age). The plot and the soundtrack are throwaways.

Summary: Laugh out loud funny
Comment: I have just learned that Outlanders is based on a manga series. Wow. Anyways, the movie is an hour + anime that is a summary of the manga series. It is about a gorgous woman alien who comes to Earth to destroy the "Intruders"who in fact are the humans. Well, she captures one human and ironically falls in love with him. It becomes a hilarious Romeo/Juliet type movie with tons of sexual humor and bloody battle scenes. You'll laugh tears with all the hidden sex phrases such as: "Kitten, darling, you know I'd take a lower position with you anytime." or "If you treat him nicely, you'll get his HUGE responsbility in return." or my favorite: "Wow! Natrual color!" If you like non-serious, adult humor, and sick jokes; Outlanders is for you. Buy it now!

Summary: Don't get it dubbed, but it's good.
Comment: Outlanders, a movie based off of one my favorite manga series, is really good! But if you're a fan of the manga series, it's kind of a let down, since it rushes through the plot. And whatever you do- DON'T GET IT DUBBED. The acting is TERRIBLE. It made me want to puke, but the subbed version is worth the cost. Get it!

Comment: The Outlanders is one of the best Anime movies I have ever seen.It is about a young alien Princess Kahm..who is coming of age.She invades Earth and captures a photo jounalist named Tetsuya, she kisses him, knockes him out and plans to marry him.Their marriage will save the planet Earth..but Kahms father does not agree to this marriage and they go through a struggle..will Tetsuya and Kahm's love for each survive?The answer..you've got to see the movie!
