Summary: Great little special! Should please fans old and new
Comment: I love this video! it is a great way for kids to see Rock and Roll through the eyes of the Chipmunks... Will Smith even dresses up in clothes from each decade! You get to see Kenny loggins, Raven Simone, and even Richard Moll too...What was really cool was the spoofs of Elvis, Beach Boys, The Beatles, and even Little Richard too!
It was even great to see some old toys and record covers that was sprinkled throughout the program too.. The Highlight is the music video With Alvin and Company interacting in a live action setting!
I love the video and would love to see it on DVD... This special was dedicated to Ross Bagdasarian Sr too... GREAT SHOW!!!!

Summary: teddy bears or chipmunks
Comment: When my daughter, who had just turned two, saw a chipmunk sing a long video in her grandmother's collection, she called them teddy bears. She is a big fan of teddy bears so she quickly requested watching it. It's always best to humour a two-year old so I let her and to my surprise she loved it. So I got her Rockin' with the Chimpmunks. She doesn't seem to like it nearly as much as Working on the Railroad chipmunk video, but she likes it some. I really think early teens and preteens would enjoy it the most. Adults may like it for sentimental reason, as it has a lot of old clips in it.
