Customer Rating: Summary: Hot and Action-Filled Comment: Oddly I found this to be the best of the series. It appealed to fans of the series such as myself by checking in with past characters, while being careful not to detract from the central couple.
The Plot:
Noah, the king of the Demon race, decides to seek out his Imprinted mate, or soul mate. With the help of the Druid Corrine, he finds her--only to discover that her life is filled with pain and danger. Kestra is a mercenary bomber who leads a thrill seeking life that covers a shadowed past. She is not immediately thrilled at being plucked from that life by Fire Demon Noah, but she quickly learns that she cannot deny her passion, or her emotional connection, for him.
Why It Earned A Perfect Five:
It was never boring. The plot just kept going, from perilous situation to emotional turmoil to hot sex. It's not a book you want to put down.
Noah is an extremely sexy and appealing character. He has a lot of deep emotion, charisma, wisdom, and strength-and it is all evident in this story. Kestra is fairly interesting as well, being a very independent and feisty woman.
Thematically, the book addresses a lot of common emotional issues. For example, Kestra has trouble trusting, and more importantly trouble loving. Her pain easy to relate to. The resolution of this ongoing problem is believable.
I would recommend this book to any Jacquelyn Frank fans as a stunning addition to a wonderful series.
Customer Rating: Summary: Noah Comment: Noah, the usually in control and stoic King of the Demons, is uncharacteristically uneasy. Noah is no exception to the rules that bind all Nightwalkers. He feels the need during Samhain just like they all do. Lately his need for his mate is becoming almost unbearable though. He dreams of her every night but never sees her face. He doesn't know who she is, or where she is, but he knows she is "the one.".
Kestra Irons has spent most of her life as independent and in control as possible. Lately her erotic dreams of an unknown man are rocking her tough façade. With help, Noah finally meets Kestra but the meeting is nothing like he hoped. Not only are they surrounded by danger but also Kestra is fighting him tooth and nail. Noah has his work cut out for him convincing Kestra that they were destined to be together as a new threat is poised to destroy the Nightwalkers. How do you stop a threat that comes from the inside? It will take everything Noah has, Kestra's newfound power, and the strength of each and every Nightwalker to stop their enemies, again.
From the beginning of the Nightwalker series I was anxious to read Noah's story. Noah is everything I hoped it would be and more! Noah needed a story as powerful and compelling as he is and he needed a woman to match his intensity and strength. Kestra fits him to a T. As the Nightwalkers fight yet another threat, the storyline continues to remain fresh and thrilling. One of the things I like most about series novels is the continuation of a great storyline and revisiting old characters. In Noah, previous characters play a very big role in the story. Jacquelyn Franks' characters come alive on the pages. You can't help but feel drawn to each and every one. The Vampires, Demons, Lycanthropes and more are fascinating and personable. Noah is engaging, exciting, enchanting, and erotic. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Jacquelyn Frank is one hell of a storyteller!

Customer Rating: Summary: Seriously.... Is that what it has come to? Comment: What a disappointment. We follow this whole series to get to the story about Noah and he is reduced to a whining sniveling brat. His heroine is no better. I wanted to smack her upside the head so many times it wasn't funny. I found myself reading, just to finish the book.
There wasn't any real chemistry between them. He wasn't the controlled Fire Demon that we all know and love. He was a mess. I could have done without the whole love story and focused on the plot to find Ruth and her band of witches.
I would say, get this from the used book store because it does tie up some loose ends but read on a rainy day. Don't waste gorgeous weather reading it.
Customer Rating: Summary: 3 stars it was just too much of everything. Comment: The problem I had with this book is that everything was just too much. There was too much lovin' and there was way to many stories going on at once. I also thought the herione was a little much in the beginning and then she just went bleh. If you aren't going to make her such a wow character I think she should of been that way through the whole book.
The biggest problem I had with the book was that there was way too many stories going on at once. I want to read about the main characters not everyone inbetween I have already read their stories and loved them. I don't need a repeat of those stories. I want this one to stand on its own, especially because I was looking forward to this book. I still love Noah, but still am not sure she was right for him.
Customer Rating: Summary: What a great series! Comment: I absolutely love this series, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book Noah. I was a bit disappointed at the quick ending, but not enough to downgrade my rating. I wish there were more players, and this series wouldn't end.... The author Jacki Frank is one of the best authors I've ever read in this genre. I recommend the whole series, in order, to anyone who wants to lose themselves in a great story.
