Summary: Excellent Book for those looking for a Godly example in life
Comment: This book is a very good Christian 'read'. This is a book of how God would choose us to view and live our life. It is not intended to make us perfect in our life. It is intended to help us see the most positive aspects of life events. It is certainly a 'glass half full' view of our lives. There is so much negativity in the world that touches us directly, but it is how we deal with the negativity and understand how to move it in a positive directional flow. I found the book to be a very interesting read. She uses several examples each chapter, and when she does, I feel a part of her examples. It helps the book come to life for me. I see myself in many ways throughout the book. It is not a 'bible quote' book. It is merely a guide to help us understand the positives in life, and we can certainly use another positive Christian approach in our life.
By the way, the Osteens encourage everyone to 'get involved in a bible based church'. They do not preach one particular religion, but unlike other religious and spiritual leaders, they are perfect in this guidance. This is why the Osteens are the most popular spiritual leaders in the world.

Comment: In a world where there is so much negativism, it is refreshing to hear what is right with the world. I enjoyed this book immensely and will listen to it again and again.

Comment: This book moves right along and gave me the feeling that Victoria was a friend chatting with me. It is packed with lots of good advice and is very encouraging and uplifting. I liked that she included summaries of "anchor thoughts" at the end of each chapter.
One thing that especially made an impact on me is to keep a list of everything I like about my husband and everything he does to make my life easier. Instead of keeping track of his mistakes, or things he did that made me mad, this will help me stay focused on his good points and help me not to forget these things.
